Education Program - Exploring Diversity Through Music

In
2008 & 2009 the Department for International Development
financially supported a 'Development Education through Music
Program' facilitated by Beyond Skin. The program was coordinated
in a partnership between the two charities 'Beyond Skin'
& 'Children in Crossfire' using artists from the Motion
Project.
The DFID
2008/09 touring schools program was completed 3rd April

During the
course of the project 'Beyond Skin' piloted the idea of
producing audio for a radio program through the Homely Planet
internet radio initiative. The 60min radio program will
be broadcasted from 25th May 2009. www.homelyplanet.org
Pupils
receive their certifcates for a Global Education program
'Motion'
developed by 'Beyond Skin' . www.beyondskin.net
An organisation addressing racism and sectarianism in Northern Ireland
through multi-cultural arts.
